I've been wanting to try an iguana in these liquid oils and have been putting it off because of all the spikes. He is looking amazing already and things are still moving! There will be another.

I had four made into cards today on card stock, I can't wait to see the glossy ones. Blue flamingo in the background is a work in progress. More paintings for the show! Happy camper today.
I think this one will be called busy Kai after one of my favorite four year old's. I know, I know, I have to knock the green back some but I am just enjoying the colors too much to do that right away. Eventually he will be peaking out of some seaweed instead of a whorl wind of colors. Once again Pebeo Fantasy Paints, love these things!
The sport fish were turning out more colorful than the tropical reef fish so I thought I would kick this one up a notch.
I love the bright colors that can be achieved with Pebeo Fantasy Paints! This will be part of the tropical fish series. The colors are so and glossy, so hard to capture in a photograph. These should be seen in person.
I love how the dark area turned out. It's interesting working with such a limited palette with so many mid-tones. It's a bit of a stretch to get some of the darker and lighter values. I hope they keep expanding their line of colors. Now that I've painted the walleye maybe I can get out and fish for a couple of them. Once again this is in the Pebeo Fantasy line.
