I've been down for a while but I'll get the jewelry for sale back up here in the next couple of days. It's been crazy busy and I want to thank all of you for your support. Keep an eye out for some new work in the jewelry and paintings. Hope to have more posted soon.

"There comes a time in your life when you need to stop crossing oceans for people who wouldn't jump puddles for you."
Barry posted this on Facebook today and it fits the situation perfectly. I can't even express how great my friends and family have been through this. The calls, the emails, opening your homes to me, I love each and every one of you! You all are boosting me up when I think I'm falling and encourage me to even bigger and better things. Thank you all so much! That doesn't even cover the tip of the iceberg. Well the place on Little Torch didn't work out but I'm still looking. I fit everything I wanted to take with in the pickup yesterday. I even managed to get my canvas's in there. Maybe not the most practical thing to bring but I will still be painting no matter where I end up and canvas's are expensive. The only furniture I'm bringing is a table to paint on and my adjustable chair. Other then that it's my bike, clothing, art supplies and linens. I'm still not sure if I'm leaving Sunday or Monday, I should know by tomorrow. I wish I had a place nailed down to land at but something will come up between now and when I get there hopefully. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I got a line on a cottage on Little Torch, sounds like a perfect fit. It's halfway between Key West and Marathon, clean, quiet and within my budget! It's the first place I've found that's within my budget that I wouldn't have to share or that is a total dump. I'm about 75% sure I'll be offered that job in Marathon once I get there and I have several other nibbles, "call us when you get here", so everyone please keep your fingers crossed for me. |
