 Road to Holter Lake, oil painting Well my muse has been on vacation or something this month. I've forced myself to do a few things but there was no joy, no excitement, nothing. Finally today it's back. There was joy, excitement, a sense of accomplishment. It may not be the best painting I've ever done but at least I enjoyed it again. This is the road at Holter Lake coming out of Log Clutch campground. If you've been there recently you will recognize it, the tree on the right is very distinctive.
I'll have to sit my muse down and have a little talk with him one of these days. Maybe he'll let me know when he's going to check out for a while. Good to be back painting.
